There's a reason that Bubble Bobble Hero 2 is considered one of the best games of all time. Though it released over two decades ago, the game still seems as fresh as new. However, after playing through countless hundreds of levels and seeing as though you can't beat particular levels no matter how hard you try, some players may find themselves stuck. If this describes you, don't feel alone! There is an option to beat those seemingly impossible levels without purchasing the game: a way to play the majority of the game without needing CD-ROM or imbedded files on your computer and no need for extensive knowledge about essential tools like MS-DOS and Windows 95/98/ME. Bubble Bobble Hero 2 is a game designed for MS Windows. The player is meant to use CD-ROM and/or imbedded files to run the game. However, there is a way around this: manual installation of MS Windows and playing the game without either MS Windows or imbedded files. It is possible to run the game when MS Windows isn't running or even when no hard disk space is available for imbedded data. To do this, one must attempt to manually install MS Windows. To do this, you'll need to download an MS Windows installation file, such as MS-DOS 5.21 (or higher) or Windows 95 (possibly). Once you've downloaded the appropriate installation package, run it (using compatibility mode) and attempt to install the package to hard disk space that doesn't have imbedded files. This means you must create a hard disk space on your computer. If none of your hard drive(s) have imbedded data, then install the game there. If at least one of your hard drive(s) already contains imbedded data, do not install MS Windows on these. Once you've downloaded and installed Windows, follow these next steps: 1. Install MS-DOS. Going to the installation CD and installing a command prompt is an easy start. Open up a command prompt from within the new disc, then type "CD" followed by a space then the name of the disc, such as "CD\\MDOS5.21". In this way, you can navigate ready-made files without needing any technical know-how of command prompts, making life easier on newbies! 2. Download Bubble Bobble Hero 2 from your favorite place online or download it from your local hard drive at home if no copy was made available to you elsewhere. 3. Install Bubble Bobble Hero 2 to the files on your computer. For this, you'll need to copy the game data from your download to a temporary location. You can move this data anywhere you want on your computer, but make sure there's enough space for the game files! If not, look for any other file that has more room on its hard drive.
